In my 20’s, I was frustrated with my body. Like many others, I decided breast implants were the answer. It was great for my confidence but TERRIBLE for my health. My health deteriorated until I was sick more days in a year than I was well. In 2022, I finally explanted my 400cc saline implants. These works show my journey of physical and mental health that is wrapped up with body image. I choose to look at even this tough and complicated with a sense of fun and joy.
